AS I LAY DYING confirm tour with Killswitch Engage!

AS I LAY DYING, fresh off their co-headlining tour with The Devil Wears Prada, have announced that they will be joining fellow metal pioneers, Killswitch Engage, for the headlining tour this summer. The bands have toured together on multiple occasions, including 2005′s Ozzfest, and 2004′s tour with In Flames. Additional support on this tour will come from Miss May I and Affiance. The tour will begin May 30th in Oklahoma City and will conclude on July 8th in Joliet, IL. The entire list of dates can be found below and on facebook.com/asilaydying.

Recently, a lyric video for the track, “No Lungs To Breathe,” which was made by the band’s guitarist Nick Hipa, was posted via AS I LAY DYING’s youtube channel. The video is streaming now at youtube.com/asilaydying.
Awakened, which Alternative Press heralded as “the best As I Lay Dying album you can point to as metal both modernized and maximized,” debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at #11, selling over 28,000 copies in its first week in the US alone. Awakened also landed at the #47 spot on Guitar World’s top 50 albums of 2012.
