Wovenwar launch studio update #3: bass!
- June 3rd, 2014 –
Tour with Black Label Society begins next month!
Wovenwar documented the recording process of their self-titled debut album, due out later this summer. Guitarist Nick Hipa shot and edited the series, as well as the singles and teasers streaming at wovenwar.com. The third studio video features clips of Josh Gilbert tracking bass, plus some non-sequitur humor from the guys in the band and producer Bill Stevenson. The video can be seen now at youtube.com/WOVENWAR.
Wovenwar will embark on their first ever US tour in July and August with Black Label Society and Kyng! Tickets are on sale now. Check out the full list of dates below, and at wovenwar.com/tour.
Wovenwar features the talents of Jordan Mancino (drums), Nick Hipa (guitar), Phil Sgrosso (guitar) and Josh Gilbert (bass) of San Diego, California based metal act As I Lay Dying, and Shane Blay (vocals) of Oh, Sleeper. The band’s first single, “All Rise,” from the band’s upcoming self-titled debut is available now on iTunes HERE. Wovenwar‘s debut self-titled release will be dropping in late summer 2014.
Over the course of this past year, Wovenwar completed work on the new material recorded with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) with mixing duties handled by Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium).
