The Decibel Magazine Tour in Columbus, OH moved to new location due to conflicting religious beliefs with venue owners
Agoura Hills, CA - April 3rd, 2012 - The highly anticipated inaugural Decibel Magazine tour kicks off in a mere eight days in Columbus, OH. It wasn't too late, however, for the venue owners to prohibit the bands from appearing at The Brewmaster's Gate. Behemoth, Watain, The Devil's Blood, and In Solitude are being forbidden from playing at the venue because of religious conflicts with the venue owners. These bands are no strangers to this type of treatment, and a new venue has already been confirmed. The Columbus, OH show will now be at Al Rosa. Tickets for this show are still available and can be purchased HERE.

Behemoth's front man, Nergal, comments further: "Wow, big motherfuckin' WOW! We are facing a legendary moment: Amerika, the land of the free, is banning Behemoth coz of religious beliefs. The madness starts in Ohio, but of korz we are playing anyway. Nothing can stop us now. God, please save me from this freedom…"

The inaugural Decibel Magazine Tour will feature not just the long-awaited stateside return of Polish blackened death metal overlords Behemoth, but support from Swedish black metal provocateurs Watain, Dutch prog mystics the Devil's Blood and Swedish old-school occultists In Solitude. The official tour video trailer can be seen on Metal Blade TV now HERE.

Beginning on April 11th and laying waste through a gargantuan 26-date run, the Decibel Magazine Tour (presented by Metal Blade Records, IndieMerchStore.com, FYE, ESP Guitars and Good Fight Entertainment) not only offers four diverse European artists hand-picked by the magazine, but doubles as Behemoth's first U.S. tour since vocalist/guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski's well-documented battle with—and triumph over—leukemia.

Decibel Magazine Tour Line Up Announced
Behemoth, Watain, The Devil's Blood and In Solitide take part in premier heavy metal magazine's inaugural tour starting in April

Blackened clouds are gathering overhead, and it's all our fault. North America's premier heavy metal magazine is launching the maiden edition of its annual earth-scorching tour this April.

Beginning in April and laying waste through a gargantuan 26-date run, the Decibel Magazine Tour (presented by Metal Blade Records, IndieMerchStore.com, FYE, ESP Guitars and Good Fight Entertainment) not only offers four diverse European artists hand-picked by the magazine, but doubles as Behemoth's first U.S. tour since vocalist/guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski's well-documented battle with—and triumph over—leukemia.

Gruesome visual evidence of this tour package is forthcoming: We went all the way to Sweden to capture the frontmen and women of all four bands for our special Decibel Magazine Tour cover story, streeting in April. "Considering the fact that we'll be sharing the stage with the most evil and uncompromising bands around—Watain, the Devil's Blood and In Solitude—this already makes it a legendary bill that you can't miss out on!" promises Nergal. "Watch out. We won't show up—we will ARRIVE with all the strength and might!"

"Part of Decibel's mission is to push the boundaries of what a metal publication is capable of doing," adds Decibel editor-in-chief Albert Mudrian, the tour's principal curator. "By bringing bands like Watain, the Devil's Blood and In Solitude to larger stages in the U.S, we create an additional vehicle to help raise their profiles. It's another way to infect the mainstream with the power of the underground."

It only makes sense that Decibel would present a tour package with a sense of integrity, purpose and history. "It is a joint force of artistic adversity and sinister creativity," assures Watain frontman Erik Danielsson, "which makes me think of the glorious days when bands like Venom, Metallica, Exodus and Slayer toured together like a great middle finger raised towards their sheep-minded contemporaries."

Excited yet? Well, here's an early opportunity to score a great deal AND avoid standing in line. Fifteen premium packages are available in each market that include your ticket to the show, a tour T-shirt, a tour poster and a super-exclusive "Skip the Line" pass to move you to the front when doors open. The price of this package is less than you would spend on a ticket and a tour shirt at the show! More details, including tour dates, venues and ticket info will be announced at www.decibelmagazinetour.com on January 24th. Every ticket purchased through Top Spin will come with a commemorative laminate, and all fans that purchase their ticket through Top Spin will be entered to win an ESP Guitar.

Hails to our partners!

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD: New Album Out Now! "The Madness of Serpents" Art Teaser Posted
The Thousandfold Epicentre, the long awaited new full-length from Dutch occult rockers THE DEVIL'S BLOOD, is out NOW in North America! Featuring 11 tracks produced with the help of Pieter Kloos at Void Studios (Eindhoven, The Netherlands), The Thousandfold Epicentre has reaped critical acclaim among critics nationwide. Crowned this week's Album Of The Week, MSN Headbang noted: "…this daring, mysterious album sees this promising band starting to sound closer to being fully realized than ever before." Verbicide championed the band saying: "…if rock 'n roll is truly the devil's music, then THE DEVIL'S BLOOD could be headliners in Hell," while Decibel Magazine proclaimed it "…an 11-track opus of maximum cosmic significance…"

In related news, "The Madness of Serpents" art clip, the latest installment to the record's video teaser series, is up now at the band's official landing page. Check it out at THIS LOCATION.

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD is a dedication to principles and principals more ancient than Time, a branch of a tree greater than the World, an exclamation of both the profound and the profane. THE DEVIL'S BLOOD has always been one of the many vessels through which the Light of the Devil shines upon the darkness of the world and shall always be the possible entrance to a path walked alone. But only for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This path starts not in understanding but in confusion.

Words From The Converted:

"…never in my wildest dreams was I expecting an album of such clarity, verve and force, outstripping everything the band has achieved so far in their career and setting an unreasonably high benchmark for this resurgent genre." -- Lurker's Path

"There's an odd mini-movement of bands like this – Blood Ceremony, Sabbath Assembly and the afore-mentioned Ghost all truck in various degrees of darkly alternative spirituality and early '70s hard rock. (Who knew Black Widow's 1970 occult rock LP Sacrifice would become such a sacred text?) THE DEVIL'S BLOOD is at the forefront of this strange crowd, however, and the excellent The Thousandfold Epicentre makes no bones about why." -- The Big Take Over

"…THE DEVIL'S BLOOD bring to mind what Jefferson Airplane's sound would have been if they abandoned their love of psychedelic drugs for good old-fashioned Satanism." -- L.A. Weekly

"On their sophomore album, Dutch act THE DEVIL'S BLOOD deliver NWOBHM-kissed riffs and melodic female vocals like it's 1980 all over again" -- Noisecreep

"…dynamic and luminous…" -- Terrorizer

"THE DEVIL'S BLOOD are entity onto themselves, and could very well be considered metal's most valid Satanic band." -- Blistering

"…one of the most captivating releases of the year 2012. A superlative effort," -- Metal Assault

"The Thousandfold Epicentre is capable of alluring visions, a veritable siren's song of majesty and grace." -- Blood Good Horror

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD: New Track Streaming Via Decibel Magazine
With just one week away from its North American release, Decibel Magazine is currently streaming "Die The Death" from The Thousandfold Epicentre, the forthcoming new full-length from occult rock conjurers, THE DEVIL'S BLOOD. "Die The Death" is the third track off a record Decibel calls "a rollicking adventure somewhere between early '80s heavy metal and '70s Canterbury scene."

Noted founder/band leader SL of the offering: "The Thousandfold Epicentre has become a beautiful and horrible child, a child that is about to be offered up unto the Bull headed God. Within the flames of its creation we have heated our irons for the branding of the world. Within its words and music lies the entrance to the path towards the crossroads, towards the unending singularity and beyond. Our children for Moloch! Hail Satan!"

Witness "Die The Death" HERE.

"…an 11-track opus of maximum cosmic significance." -- Decibel Magazine

"THE DEVIL'S BLOOD set the underground alight with an occult-rock conflagration that manages to invoke the misty gallop of Heart and Fleetwood Mac, the bizarre prophetism of Roky Erickson and the jangly doom boogie of Pentagram." -- Terrorizer Magazine

"On their sophomore album, Dutch act THE DEVIL'S BLOOD deliver NWOBHM-kissed riffs and melodic female vocals like its 1980 all over again." – Noisecreep

"THE DEVIL'S BLOOD are entity onto themselves, and could very well be considered metal's most valid Satanic band." – Blistering

"The Thousandfold Epicentre is capable of alluring visions, a veritable siren's song of majesty and grace." -- Bloody Good Horror

"Fronted by a sultry female vixen who spouts about riding on the wings of demons and ghastly horrors, the band is like some LSD-fueled trip through '70s rock. It's hard to resist, and packs almost 75 minutes of content into its frame." -- About.com

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD: New Video From The Thousandfold Epicentre Teaser Series Posted
Dutch occult rockers THE DEVIL'S BLOOD this week offer up a new video clip from The Thousandfold Epicentre teaser series. "Die The Death" is the third track from the band's forthcoming full-length. Scheduled for North American release on January 17, 2012 via Metal Blade Records, The Thousandfold Epicentre features 11 tracks produced with the help of Pieter Kloos at Void Studios (Eindhoven, The Netherlands).

Comments band founder SL of the forthcoming release: "THE DEVIL'S BLOOD are pleased to announce the conception of a new Litter to be cast upon the sacrificial flames of the bull-headed God that resides on the plane of Gehenna. Eleven new children shall pass through His flames to become reborn in Chaos. We have taken 11 months to write and two months to record these monsters and to prepare, attach and inscribe the appropriate sigils, ornaments, chimes and bells upon these young-lings before releasing their serpentine malignity upon the world…"

Check out the video clip for "Die The Death" at THIS LOCATION.

"…an 11-track opus of maximum cosmic significance…" -- 9/10, Decibel Magazine

"F The Mouth Of Satan does not speak onstage. F The Mouth Of Satan does not give interviews. The only sounds that escape her larynx in public are the rich, silvery tones of her exquisite singing voice. Part Grace Slick, part Ann Wilson, she sounds like she should be haunting the soundtracks of some long-lost Italian horror flick from the 1970s." -- Terrorizer Magazine

"You can think of THE DEVIL'S BLOOD as a Black Sabbath, a pioneer whose path was cleared by great acts like Mountain (i.e., Ghost) and Blue Cheer (Blood Ceremony)." -- MetalSucks.net

"Dutch rockers THE DEVIL'S BLOOD bring to mind what Jefferson Airplane's sound would have been if they abandoned their love of psychedelic drugs for good old-fashioned Satanism. A very warm sound has marked every release by the band so far, allowing full justice to be done to the haunting vocals of the woman known only as 'F.' The band's upcoming release, The Thousandfold Epicentre, is one of few hotly-anticipated metal releases remaining on the 2011 calendar." -- LA Weekly

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD: New Track Premiere Brought To You By Pitchfork
Recently, Pitchfork.com premiered "Fire Burning," the eighth track from The Thousandfold Epicentre, the upcoming full-length from Dutch occult rockers THE DEVIL'S BLOOD. Set for North American release on January 17, 2012 via Metal Blade Records, the offering is already earning critical acclaim. Decibel Magazine called it "…an 11-track opus of maximum cosmic significance…," Terrorizer dubbed it "dynamic and luminous," while LA Weekly praised the band saying: "THE DEVIL'S BLOOD bring to mind what Jefferson Airplane's sound would have been if they abandoned their love of psychedelic drugs for good old-fashioned Satanism."

Listen to "Fire Burning" HERE.

Comments THE DEVIL'S BLOOD founder and leader SL: "THE DEVIL'S BLOOD have proven time and time again to be a completely self-reliant and untethered entity; we hold no allegiance with anyone, not even internally. We do not belong to any scene and refuse to be the face of any kind of movement or organization. THE DEVIL'S BLOOD is quite simply not of this world and holds no ties to it. We shall disappear as suddenly as we came when the time of the completion of our founding goals has been achieved. What these are is not known, not even to us. Without fear or hesitation we cast upon the fire our children for Moloch! Hail Satan!"

THE DEVIL'S BLOOD To Unveil "The Thousandfold Epicentre" Video Teaser Series
Occult rock legion THE DEVIL'S BLOOD will be releasing a series of video teasers leading up to the release of their upcoming full-length, The Thousandfold Epicentre. Each week a new teaser will be viewable via the band's official Metal Blade landing page. To start, check out the art teaser clip for the title track at THIS LOCATION.

Metal Blade Records recently announced its union with the eclectic rock ensemble and will unleash The Thousandfold Epicentre in North America on January 17, 2012. The record offers up 11 tracks produced with the help of Pieter Kloos at Void Studios (Eindhoven, The Netherlands).

The myriad of influences, both artistically and spiritually, that creates the overall aesthetic of THE DEVIL'S BLOOD takes the listener into a labyrinth of wondrous amazement and dark realization, using the tradition of rock 'n' roll music as being a mouthpiece for the influence of The Devil to evoke a powerful, sensual and energetic mixture of Musical Theatre and Ritual Practice. Using the power of their written material, which traditionally holds common ground with, for example, '70s hard rock and 60s psychedelia, as a stepping stone, the band moves into complex improvisational drifts that drive, clash, shake and force their way into the subconscious of the listeners while at the same time opening up their senses with the use of fire, blood, incense and other ritualistic ingredients.

Metal Blade set to release cult rock band THE DEVIL'S BLOOD in North America!
The Devil's Blood - The Thousandfold Epicentre set for release in North American January 2012

Metal Blade Records is pleased to announce its union with THE DEVIL'S BLOOD, a hard rock band inspired by vintage metal and underground psychedelic rock of the days of yore. Metal Blade will be releasing the upcoming full-length album, The Thousandfold Epicentre, set for release in North America on January 17, 2012. The new album from THE DEVIL'S BLOOD features 11 tracks, which were produced with the help of Pieter Kloos at Void Studios(Eindhoven / The Netherlands).

"We are very pleased to be able to announce our partnership with a partner so deeply rooted in tradition and at the same time willing and able to extend their borders to include THE DEVIL'S BLOOD. This industrious quality makes us feel we have chosen a partner who shall not sit idly by as their seeds are growing, but instead shall water the orchard with love and passion so the fruits may become sweet as damnation's wine. Our cult is growing, growing fast, and with the addition of Metal Blade to our family we shall endeavor to make the whole world dream the dreams of Death."
(SL/TDB/A-O)

"THE DEVIL'S BLOOD has a sound that is quite unique in today's scene. Reminiscent of the classic metal and psychedelic rock bands of the 60's and 70's, THE DEVIL'S BLOOD has created a dark and haunting world made up of intriguing music, strong vocals and musicianship, reflective artwork, and a theatrical stage show that is not to be missed. We are extremely excited to be working with THE DEVIL'S BLOOD and look forward to releasing their upcoming full-length The Thousandfold Epicentre in North America this January." Brian Slagel – Metal Blade Records

SL/TDB/A-O comments on the upcoming release: "The Thousandfold Epicentre has become a beautiful and horrible child, a child that is about to be offered up unto the Bull headed God. Within the flames of its creation we have heated our irons for the branding of the world. Within its words and music lies the entrance to the path towards the crossroads, towards the unending singularity and beyond. Our children for Moloch! Hail Satan!"

About the band:
"The Devil's Blood are pleased to announce the conception of a new Litter to be cast upon the sacrificial flames of the bull-headed God that resides on the plane of Gehenna. Eleven new children shall pass through His flames to become reborn in Chaos when the eleventh of November comes to pass in this foul year of their lord, two thousand and eleven. We have taken 11 months to write and two months to record these monsters and to prepare, attach and inscribe the appropriate sigils, ornaments, chimes and bells upon these young-lings before releasing their serpentine malignity upon the world…"

The Devil's Blood MMXI:
The myriad of influences, both artistically and spiritually, that creates the overall aesthetic of The Devil's Blood takes the listener into a labyrinth of wondrous amazement and dark realization. Using the tradition of rock ‘n' roll music as being a mouthpiece for the influence of The Devil to evoke a powerful, sensual and energetic mixture of Musical Theatre and Ritual Practice.

Using the power of their written material, which traditionally holds common ground with, for example, 70s hard rock and 60s psychedelia among many others, as a steppingstone from which the band moves into complex improvisational drifts that drive, clash, shake and force their way into the subconscious of the listeners while at the same time opening up their senses with the use of fire, blood, incense and other ritualistic ingredients.

The Devil's Blood uses these ingredients in their Theatrical Presentations as focal points through which the sonic worship of Death, Chaos and the Devil is projected. To instigate certain rebellious notions, alive deep within the dark heart of humanity, they seek to spill forth the waters of the River of The Devil's Blood so that it in turn might instigate the spark of the inner Divine flame, that it might speak of the inner potential and power of the ones confronted with its glory, that it might, in whatever small or grand fashion, add to the growing forces of the infernal dominion and thereby to the impetus that shall lead to the end of all things.

"The Devil's Blood is a dedication to principles and principals more ancient than Time, a branch of a tree greater than the World, an exclamation of both the profound and the profane. The Devil's Blood has always been one of the many vessels through which the Light of the Devil shines upon the darkness of the world and shall always be the possible entrance to a path walked alone. But only for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This path starts not in understanding but in confusion.

The Devil's Blood have proven time and time again to be a completely self reliant and un-tethered entity; we hold no allegiance with anyone, not even internally.
