Band’s
First In-Concert Document Includes Bonus Acoustic Set
The
Texas-based rock trio King's X will issue the double
live CD Live All Over The Place on November 2, 2004.
This Brop! Records/Metal Blade Records release is the
critically acclaimed band's first live album in its
25-year history. Live All over the Place also features
a bonus acoustic set. All songs were recorded in various
locations on tour beginning with 1994's Dogman trek
through 2003's Black Like Sunday dates.
Calling
Live All Over The Place a long-overdue documentation
of the beloved band's energizing live show is an understatement.
Vocalist/bassist Doug Pinnick, vocalist/guitarist Ty
Tabor and vocalist/drummer Jerry Gaskill have thrilled
fans and journalists worldwide -- especially in the
United States and Europe -- with their heartfelt music.
King's X has been a huge influence on other bands such
as longtime fans Pearl Jam, Anthrax and Living Colour.
VH1 ranked King's X as # 83 on its list of the top 100
all-time hard rock artists.
"King's
X has been performing live since 1980 and our fans have
always wanted a live album, but there were lots of legal
reasons why we haven't put one out until now. We've
been with four different labels over the years and recorded
more than enough material for a live album but only
now through the passage of time are we able to release
one," Tabor says.

han tocado su propio estilo. Probablemente no existe
ningún grupo que no tiene KING'S X como "all-time
artistas favoritas". Un ejemplo es el lugar en
la lista de los 100 mejores grupos de Hard Rock de todos

KING'S
X se fundaron hace casi 20 años y desde entonces
son un fénomeno internacional. Desde la publicación
de su disco "Out Of The Silent Planet" en
1988, el trio tiene una comunidad de fans leal, duro
y constantemente creciendo. Después de siete
años exitosos y seis discos de estudio, el grupo
se dividió de su label "Atlantic Records".
Por fin, KING'S X firmó un contrato con "Metal
Blade Records". Se publicó los otros proyectos
solos de Ty y Doug ("Moonflower Lane" de Ty
y "Poundhound" de Doug) antes de empezar los
trabajos para el primer disco para "Metal Blade".En
1998 se publicó "Tape Head" y dos años
después vino al mercado "Please Come Home...Mr.Bulbous",
que ganó críticas internacionales excelentes.

"Manic
Moonlight", el disco de estudio número nueve,
otra vez es una obra del arte único y irresistible.
Aquí KING'S X muestran bien claro, como pueden
superarse otra vez. El disco brilla por la manera típica
del grupo, como las armonías del canto excelentes,
las composiciones complicadas y las melodias bonitas.
