 Zune recently sent a video crew out to shadow the guys in The Black Dahlia Murder on the New York City stop of their current US headlining tour. Zune’s video crew was on a mission to capture a day in the life of one of metal’s most entertaining bands, and that they did. Follow along as Trevor, Brian, and Shannon make stops at tour sponsors Metal Maniacs offices for a roof top interview, Fangoria Magazine’s offices to sit down and talk horror movies, and run amuck in New York City. In the mix of it all is live footage from the show that night at BB King’s, backstage interviews, and Trevor and Bart heading out to the streets to talk to their rabid fans. There will be a total of six 3 minute exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ video podcasts, all filmed in New York City on January 16th 2008, available only through Zune Marketplace and Zune.net.

 Detroit death metalers The Black Dahlia Murder stopped by Fuel TV’s studios in Hollywood, CA on Thursday January 31st to perform two tracks off their latest release Nocturnal. THE RED CHORD to tour with Converge!
 Boston Massachusetts own, THE RED CHORD are set to hit the road with Converge and Genghis Tron starting March 30th in Worcester, MA with Baroness and Coliseum on select dates. Dubbed the Lions for Lambs tour, this run of 30+ dates showcases some of the most talented acts in metal today.
To say THE RED CHORD has been busy touring since the release of Prey for Eyes is a gross understatement. The band hit the road a month before the album came out and hasn’t let up since. CATTLE DECAPITATION begins work on new material & announces first live dates of 2008!
 Everyone’s favorite vegetarian grindcore band CATTLE DECAPITATION has begun writing material for their next album, due out in late 2008. This will be the band’s first recording with new drummer David Mcgraw (ex-Sleep Terror) who joined CATTLE DECAPITATION in fall of 2007.
Cattle Decapitation has also lined up some local Southern California shows, including first time appearances at the Los Angeles Murder Festival and The Gathering of the Sick Festival. 3 announce tour dates with Chevelle! Progressive Nation tour dates with Dream Theater, Opeth, 3, and Between the Buried and Me announced!
 Woodstock, NY’s prog-rockers 3 are pleased to announce live performances with alternative rock trio Chevelle in March. 3 will be joining Chevelle on March 10, 11, and 12 for shows in North Carolina and Virginia.
3 will be playing to support the February 18 re-release of 2007’s The End Is Begun. The audio CD will feature the 13 previously released explosive, mind boggling tracks as well as a bonus track; 3’s spin on the classic Pink Floyd song, “See Emily Play.” The bonus DVD will feature live performances of the songs “Monster”, “Bramfatura” and “Amaze Disgrace” (all songs from the band’s 2004 Metal Blade Records release, Wake Pig) from the Metal Blade 25th Anniversary show from Worcester, Massachusetts. Production videos of the songs “All that Remains” and “Alien Angel” will also be included on the bonus DVD.

 HAIL OF BULLETS will enter Excess studios in Rotterdam, Holland in February to begin recording their debut album for a May release via Metal Blade Records.
Comments drummer Ed Warby: "Yesterday we had our last band rehearsal before we enter the studio. Worked out some final arrangements and played the last two songs we wrote for the first time. One is the epic closer to the album (we'll have fun building this one up in the studio), and another is the proposed bonus track; a groovy beast of a tune that actually has a dual guitar solo in it. Martin couldn't attend, so we'll leave the vocal fine-tuning for the studio. I'm also working on a nice, moody intro for the album. Some strings, some bombs... it's turning out a lot cooler than I expected; God bless ProTools! Meanwhile our creative department is hard at work on putting together the artwork, it's starting to look very promising indeed. And finally we're close to securing a U.S. deal... more information will follow shortly."

Detroit death-metalers The Black Dahlia Murder will be heading down to Mexico for a string of dates shortly after the band finishes their US headlining tour with 3 Inches of Blood, Hate Eternal, and Decrepit Birth in support of their latest release Nocturnal. The band will then embark on an east coast tour with Blackmarket Activities ANIMOSITY and label mates BRAIN DRILL.
