The tour will begin December 6th and wraps up on December 18th.

Founding member and vocalist Jonny Davy adds: "Hey guys! We're very excited to announce our first headlining run in almost two years! ALLEGAEON vocalist Ezra Haynes expresses the band's enthusiasm for returning to the road: "We are beyond excited to be a part of this upcoming tour with Job for a Cowboy, Colorado's own Cephalic Carnage, I Declare War and Legion. We've been waiting a long time to join a tour package of this caliber. We're looking forward to these east coast dates and can't wait to get out there and hang with some new friends. We are extremely grateful for this long overdue opportunity. We can't wait to see you all out there!"

JOB FOR A COWBOY: More Studio Footage Posted
Drum Magazine Catches Up With Jon Rice; Band To Play Russia, Ukraine And Belarus

New footage from JOB FOR A COWBOY's Demonocracy studio sessions is currently available at the band's official landing page. Witness Jon Rice demolish his kit during "Fearmonger" at THIS LOCATION.

Additionally, Drum Magazine recently caught up with Rice to talk about his natural sounding approach to the critically-lauded record noting, "If you detect more of a feel-oriented style on JOB FOR A COWBOY's Demonocracy, credit Jon ‘The Charn' Rice for that extra bit of human touch. Eschewing sound replacement, scientific Pro Tools quantizing, and the usual by-the-numbers approach favored by most death metal bands (and their power hungry producers), Charn and JFAC did it old school; well, almost. While the band certainly used computers to keep the perfect beast drummer in perfect time, they didn't follow the typical click track route. Similarly, Charn opted for natural drum tones and sounds. All this anti-machine behavior gives Demonocracy a serious kick to the groin, and on songs like ‘Children Of Deceit,' ‘Imperium Wolves,' and ‘Fearmonger,' 24-year-old Charn smacks down single strokes, bleeds double pedal profundity, and generally rips the heads off your favorite death metal destroyers." READ THE FULL STORY HERE.

In related news, JOB FOR A COWBOY will bring their audio annihilation to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus this October! In the meantime, the band is still ravaging stages across North America on the final days of the Summer Slaughter Tour. See remaining tour dates below.

JOB FOR A COWBOY: Exclusive Video Premiere Courtesy Of Bloody Disgusting
Today, prime horror portal Bloody Disgusting are hosting the exclusive premiere of JOB FOR A COWBOY's "Tarnished Gluttony" video. The disturbing nine-and-a-half-minute clip was directed by Michael Panduro (Saint Vitus, Cephalic Carnage), and comes off the band's Demonocracy full-length, issued earlier this year through Metal Blade Records.

Comments founding frontman Jonny Davy: "'Tarnished Gluttony' originally runs off the idea of blind faith into our government and monetary system. The director ran with the idea and spliced it with a H.P. Lovecraftian twist. The video streams the fascination of religion and the actions people justify in the name of religion, and this video is a spin on the old biblical tale of Abraham and Isaac, however, set in the world of Lovecraftian mythology. The point is, acting blindly in faith to a Christian deity is just as absurd as worshiping squid like monsters from space who live under the sea."

Adds Panduro: "As a commercial director, I'm a complete failure. The band asked for just one thing and I couldn't deliver. Indeed, this video has no boobs."

JOB FOR A COWBOY Prepare For Summer Slaughter Trek
The Red Chord's Mike "Gunface" McKenzie To Fill In For Nick Schendzielos

JOB FOR A COWBOY are currently readying for their month-long Summer Slaughter trek, set to commence next week in Los Angeles. Bassist Nick Schendzielos will be forced to sit out part of the run due to a family emergency. The band will be joined temporarily by The Red Chord guitarist Mike "Gunface" McKenzie.

Comments Schendzielos: "Hey friends: On June 28, immediately after landing in Boston to rehearse for Puerto Rico/Summer Slaughter, my girlfriend was in a head-on collision on her scooter. She sustained very serious head and bodily injuries. I flew right home, and we've been in the ICU for a week and are still in the hospital to make sure everything is okay. She needs 24/7 supervision for at least two weeks once we get out of here, so I'm very grateful to announce that Gunface from The Red Chord is going to help me out filling in on Summer Slaughter until I can meet back up with it. We love the dude very much and it's going to be really cool for both JFAC and TRC fans to see. Enormous thanks for understanding this difficult situation and I'll be back as soon as possible!"

Adds McKenzie: "I'm excited to be playing with JFAC on this tour. Great dudes in this band as well as in the bands on Summer Slaughter. Playing bass is a little different for me but definitely an interesting challenge. I'm definitely looking forward to getting out on the road again. Nick's bass work is incredible and I'm working hard to get all of his parts down. Sending positive vibes out to him and his lady."

JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of Demonocracy, released earlier this Spring through Metal Blade Records. Called "…an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," by Alternative Press and "…a very strong exercise in slickly-produced, technically sound death metal…" by Decibel, the maniacal Jason Suecof-produced masterwork tackles a host of political and economic themes and continues to raise the eyebrows of fans and media alike. The first installment of The Parallax served to advance the band's status as one of the premiere progressive acts on the globe and Revolver Magazine claimed "Between the Buried and Me are on a level of songwriting skill that few bands can hope to reach, and their new EP epitomizes the band's talent." JOB FOR A COWBOY Announce Japanese Tour Dates
Fourth Installment Of "The Leads Are Weak" Video Series Posted

Death metal collective JOB FOR A COWBOY today announce four special headlining dates in Japan! Following their trek on the Metal Alliance tour, which is currently underway, the band will play two shows in Tokyo as well as Nagoya and Okinawa beginning on May 18. Confirmed dates are below:

JOB FOR A COWBOY in Japan
5/18/2012 Shibuya Cyclone - Tokyo, Japan w/ United [Tickets]
5/19/2012 Sakae R.A.D - Nagoya, Japan w/ Infernal Revulsion, Death I Am, Hostile Eyes, Neuerwind [Tickets]
5/20/2012 Shibuya Milkyway - Tokyo, Japan w/ Arise In Stability, Metal Safari, Infernal Revulsion, Death I Am [Tickets]
5/21/2012 Chatan Salt & Papper - Okinawa, Japan w/ Illuminati, Shores, Roach, Shakes Beard

JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of their brand new studio recording, Demonocracy, released in North America last week through Metal Blade Records. The intricate, Jason Suecof-produced offering tackles various political and economic themes and continues to crush the masses nationally. In a recent review Ultimate-Guitar noted of the record: "The album plays like a constant assault, and while never backing off it still manages to add enough structure for individual songs to become memorable," adding that, "the soloing is surprisingly catchy and well-executed while still managing to sit well in the context of the songs." Alternative Press calls Demonocracy "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," while Stereokiller agrees: "…a solid slab of some really heavy technical death metal. JOB FOR A COWBOY has separated themselves from former peers such as All Shall Perish and Whitechapel, and has now firmly fitted themselves with the likes of Suffocation and Dying Fetus."

In related news, the fourth in the "The Leads Are Weak" instructional video series by guitar wizard Tony Sannicandro is currently posted for your viewing pleasure. Subtitled "Getting Sexual," Sannicandro elaborates: "One of the most important things to me in soloing is good phrasing. The first half of the 'Misery Reformatory' solo is a pretty cool example of good phrasing that fits the song. It would have been easy to go to the classic E-minor and start burning like the clap, but I figured it would be better to break it down a little simpler and make it sexy. This is easy to play but it's a good lesson in outlining the solo like the curves of a beautiful broad." See for yourself at THIS LOCATION.

JOB FOR A COWBOY: Demonocracy Out TODAY! New Behind-The-Scenes Video Footage Posted
JOB FOR A COWBOY's long-anticipated new full-length Demonocracy is out TODAY through Metal Blade Records. Produced by Jason Suecof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium) at Audiohammer Studios, the complex death metal opus, tackles a host of political and economic themes and has already reaped the praise of fans and critics nationally. In a 4/5 rating, Alternative Press calls Demonocracy "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," Hellbound commends the band for managing to "bend the ol' familiar death metal formula their way and come up with something that is both invigorating and original," while Stereokiller notes: "…a solid slab of some really heavy technical death metal. JOB FOR A COWBOY has separated themselves from former peers such as All Shall Perish and Whitechapel, and has now firmly fitted themselves with the likes of Suffocation and Dying Fetus." Metal Army America opines in an A+ review: "History was made with this album," while Craveonline agrees saying the band: "…produce ugly music for an ugly world. If art is a reflection of humanity, then JOB FOR A COWBOY are showing us a part of ourselves we don't want to see. The band's latest opus of ugly is Demonocracy and once again they come out of the gate firing on all pistons."

In celebration of the release, the band today posted the first of a series of in-studio video clips at THIS LOCATION.

Crowned "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," in a 4/5 review by Alternative Press, the nine-track production tackles a host of political and economic themes including media propaganda, the "war industry" and the staggering debts faced by America. Immerse yourself in the full audio wreckage at THIS LOCATION.

Visit the band's OFFICIAL METAL BLADE PAGE for Demonocracy pre-order info, limited edition merch bundles and the third in a series of instructional video posts featuring guitar wizard Tony Sannicandro. Dubbed "The Leads Are Weak," the mini clips offer playing tips and an up-close look at Sannicandro's astounding skills and technique. In the third installment, Sannicandro performs an exercise called "double dutch." Sannicandro elaborates: "This is a two-note per string lick that incorporates a slight Dimebag feel and some chromatics. Two notes per string is often neglected by many guitar players, because three notes a string is much easier to get up to speed, but two note patterns are an OG way to put some bluesy flavor in your lick-age."

JOB FOR A COWBOY: Death Metal Goliaths To Unleash New Studio Offering
Album Info And New Track Revealed

Death metal goliaths JOB FOR A COWBOY will unleash their brand new studio recording entitled Demonocracy this Spring. Set for North American release on April 10, 2012 via Metal Blade Records, the nine-track Demonocracy was produced by Jason Seucof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium), who recorded the band's blistering Ruination full-length, at Audiohammer Studios and features another strikingly detailed concept cover by artist Brent Elliott White.

Returning with an odd ball lineup, the nine-track Demonocracy seethes with unbridled vulgarity and potent disgust. Over their long existence the quintet have built a yearning fan base through their devotion to touring and a diehard commitment to creating relentlessly hostile and involving music, and in 2012 JOB FOR A COWBOY have never sounded hungrier.

Commented the band in a collective statement: "However ruthless an age may actually have been, it's style transmits it's music only."

Check out the bludgeoning new single, "Nourishment Through Bloodshed," as well as cover art and behind-the-scenes studio footage at the band's OFFICIAL LANDING PAGE.

Demonocracy Track Listing:
01. Children of Deceit
02. Nourishment Through Bloodshed
03. Imperium Wolves
04. Tongueless and Bound
05. Black Discharge
06. The Manipulation Stream
07. The Deity Misconception
08. Fearmonger
09. Tarnished Gluttony

With the critical praise and fan adoration bestowed upon 2009's Ruination, it would have been easy for the band to rest upon their proverbial laurels and serve up Ruination Part II. But from the moment Demonocracy roars to life it is wholly evident that this is a far more musically accomplished beast that takes their signature sound to the next level. From the abrasive blast of opener "Children Of Deceit" to the disconcerting strains of "The Deity Misconception" or the brooding, heart wrenching closer "Tarnished Gluttony". A record drenched in equal parts misanthropy and naked rage, and from start to finish they suspend the listener by the throat.

A key factor in this progression was the change in the band's ranks, which finds vocalist Jonny Davy, drummer Jon "Charn" Rice, and guitarist Al Glassman joined by guitarist Tony Sannicandro, who met Al when he was a session guitarist for Despised Icon and filled the slot vacated by Thompson. In addition, Cephalic Carnage bassist Nick Schendzielos replaces Brent Riggs. Having initially brought Sannicandro and Schendzielos on as touring musicians, the members immediately gelled, and first wrote together on 2011's Gloom EP, sealing the deal and securing their places as full-fledged members of the band.

Guitarist Tony Sannicandro believes he made a very natural addition into the band's ranks, and he's proud to bring his intricate style to JOB FOR A COWBOY's instantly recognizable sound. "I think I bring more of an old school guitar approach to the band. Obviously before the band got me there wasn't a lot of lead work. On the new album has a solo on every song. I think I've done the best work of my life on there," he states. Equally, no one can doubt Schendzielos' musical pedigree and formidable skills, and the bassist is looking to really make a mark through his work with the band. "It's really invigorating that the cats in JFAC are into my style because there is such a great expanse of uncharted territory for bass in metal," he states. "Cephalic is notorious for our chaotic and vigorous live performances alongside an expansive and dilatant range of metal stylings. I'm bringing all that experience with me and combining it with the talents of these splendid men to make my best bass work to date."

Job for a Cowboy enter studio to record new EP

Glendale, AZ extreme metal band JOB FOR A COWBOY have entered Florida's Audio Hammer Studios with producer Jason Suecof to record an EP of all new material. The as-yet-untitled EP will feature the first new music from the band since 2009's Ruination LP which landed at #42 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. A summer release via Metal Blade records is expected.

"It felt like a long time since we last got together to write new material," commented JOB FOR A COWBOY vocalist Jonny Davy. "After collaborating in the snow of Boston, we're now recording our second EP. It feels good to be in Florida with Jason, Ron and Eyal of Audio Hammer studios. JFAC 2.0 is on the way."

JOB FOR A COWBOY formed in 2003 in Glendale, Arizona. In the short time since the release of the band's 2005 EP Doom, the group has progressed from "the band with the different name" to one of the leading lights for heavy music in the 21st century. In 2007, JOB FOR A COWBOY's full length debut Genesis became the highest charting metal debut to crack Billboard's Top 200 since Slipknot's 1999 self-titled album and its first week charting position represented one of the highest Billboard debuts ever for a band representing the "death metal" subgenre. 2009's Ruination LP upped the ante, landing at #42 on the Billboard Chart. JFAC has toured the world to out-and-out acclaim, highlighted by numerous world headlining tours and main stage appearances at distinguished music jubilees such as the UK's Download Festival, Germany's Wacken Open Air and The Rockstar Mayhem Festival. JOB FOR A COWBOY's sound has been described as "straightforwardly brutal" by Rolling Stone and "brute-force" by The New York Times. Guitar World has dubbed the group as "The new wave of extreme".
