Six METAL BLADE RECORDS artists appear on the Saints Row 3 in-game soundtrack!

Not only is the game over-the-top, but the soundtrack is as well. The game boasts seven in game radio stations to enjoy while flying and driving through Steelport. Today also marks the first day players will be able to import their created characters from the Saints Row Initiation Station into Saints Row: The Third and wreak havoc in Steelport as their favorite, crazed creations. AS I LAY DYING debuts 'Electric Eye' Video On Ultimate-Guitar.com!
Decas enters Billboard Charts in the U.S. and German album charts!
Grammyฎ-nominated metal group AS I LAY DYING is premiering a new music video for their take on the Judas Priest classic "Electric Eye" on www.Ulitmate-Guitar.com. The song appears on the recently released EP, Decas, which marks the bands 10 year anniversary.
The clip was shot with director Paul Brown (My Chemical Romance, Staind, Stone Sour) at El Mirage Lake, a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert of San Bernardino County, California.
"After a long day of sunburns and drought out in the desert I'm glad to be done fighting scorpions for the filming of Electric Eye. We came out victorious, but we probably couldn't have done it without the classic metal inspiration of Halford and Priest's legendary guitar melodies," explains front man Tim Lambesis.

AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE to release "Jingle All the Way"; available digitally and on limited 7" vinyl!
The one and only AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE spent some time in the studio recently, mostly to lift weights, but also to record a few new songs. The songs are based on the ultimate holiday movie, Jingle All the Way, which stars Ahhnold, of course! The songs are a regaling tale of the pursuit of a one "Turbo Man" doll, sung by Tim Lambesis and Ahhnold.
The digital version of Jingle All the Way will be available for download wherever downloads are sold as of December 6th, 2011 and the limited 7" vinyl single will be available shortly thereafter and can be pre-ordered now. The band comments the video clip as follows: "The Scarecrow is the opening track of our new album Cold Comfort. Its probably our most doomy and melancholic song ever. Pretty heavy as well. The video was shot by Neil Mowbray at Plaza Danza in Groningen and in Glasgow. AUTUMN bassist Jeroen Vrielink did all the video editing and additional shots!

LIZZY BORDEN about to kick off "Death takes a holiday" European tour 2011!
After blazing through the U.S. and Canada on the "Summer of Blood Tour", LIZZY BORDEN have announced the "Death Takes a Holiday Tour" 2011.
LIZZY BORDEN will kick off the European part of the tour in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) on November 23rd, then on to Germany for the Christmas Metal Festival with Hammerfall, Lordi and Saxon in Lichtenfels, Germany on Nov 25th. A much anticipated performance at this year's Hard Rock Hell festival in the UK will follow on December 2nd with Ace Frehley , Magnum and the Quireboys.

American Doomster latest band to sign to A.A. Nemtheanga's Poison Tongue Records!
Almighty PILGRIM, a three-piece doom metal band from Rhode Island, USA! With a mix of destruction, misery and beauty, these young disciples of doom blend a surprisingly original sword and sorcery feel with the classic chest-caving heaviness of the masters, Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Reverend Bizarre and Pentagram. Their thick walls of majestically darkened guitar, massive booming bass, and dangerously powerful yet calculated drumming lull listeners into an intense dream-like trance, abducting them to places they never knew were dwelling within their own minds.

PILGRIM about their debut album Misery Wizard: "Misery Wizard" is a sonic journey through a strange and mystical legend. Hidden within are the twisted tales of the evil demons, ancient aliens and powerful sorcerers that once inhabited the dark realms of our fable. We wanted to make a record that harnessed the foreboding sounds of classic doom metal and mesh it with our tales of high-fantasy.
We're influenced by dark, heavy music, Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Reverend Bizarre, Darkthrone, Burzum and the like. Unlike a lot of modern musicians, we wanted to pay tribute to these bands without BEING them, so to speak. I think originality and individuality is a staple of this record. No two songs are too similar. Each is a unique gem revealing an unsung tale of old. Each song is a portal into a different scene of the overarching mythos that is PILGRIM."
PILGRIM formed in early 2010 and was built on the worship of "true doom metal". Krolg, the Slayer of Man (drums), Count Elric the Soothsayer (bass) and The Wizard (guitars and vocals) have set out on a holy pilgrimage of domination through amplification.
Tucked away high up in the US' New England coastline, you can find PILGRIM making their fabled pilgrimages to New York City to showcase their mysterious songwriting for shadowy un-lit rooms of coked out metal-heads.
