Killing The Eternal was recorded at the Antfarm studios in Aarhus, Denmark under the direction of long-time band producer Tue Madsen.

Comments singer Martin van Drunen on the concept of 'On Divine Winds': "This time Hail of Bullets takes on the Pacific War. The expansion of the Empire of Japan throughout Asia, introducing a full scale war using all forces combined. The massive strike back of the Americans, whose marines bravely fought many tough and bloody battles on now forgotten insulate islands spread throughout the whole Pacific. This led to desperate Japanese defense tactics such as Kamikaze, human bullets and suicidal Banzai charges. Until finally, incendiary bombings brought the empire to its knees."
The album title 'On Divine Winds' refers to the translation for the Japanese word Kamikaze, as kami stands for "God" and kaze means "wind".

Coordinates Of Confusion has been mixed by Ruzz (drums) in their own Negligence studio in late spring of 2010 and was mastered at West West Side Music in New York by Alan Douches.
Comments NEGLIGENCE: "We really feel that what we've done on this record, is a big step forward for us. We took a different approach in writing the songs, since we wrote them altogether. This resulted in a more mature and heavier album opposed to our first album 'Options of a trapped mind'. Coordinates Of Confusion will be released the 8th/11th of October 2010 via Metal Blade Records in Europe!
NEGLIGENCE was formed in 2000 by Dyz and Jey, two excellent Slovenian guitarists who shared the same passion for music and decided to start working together. They soon found a proper and stable line-up and played lots of shows in their homeland Slovenia including a gig at the infamous Metal Camp festival. Between 2003 and 2005 they also released three unnamed demos.
2005 marks a turning point in the history of NEGLIGENCE when they parted ways with their old singer and presented the 15-year old Alex as their new frontman. The band gathered a bigger fanbase and in 2007 NEGLIGENCE independently released their debut album Options Of A Trapped Mind. The album opened many new doors for the group and got a good reception amongst metal fans and received great reviews worldwide. Following the release, the band went on to promote their album supporting some of the biggest acts in metal, such as Exodus, Forbidden, Heathen, Sadus and Death Angel among others.
At the end of 2009, long-time member Dyz parted ways with the band but was still part of the production for the second album. NEGLIGENCE have recently found a second guitar player – his name is Aljo - who will help increasing the sheer power the band is able to deliver on stage!

THE OCEAN reveal track listing and details on "Anthropocentric"
THE OCEAN are currently in the process of mixing their upcoming album Anthropocentric at Studio Mecanique in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the same place where Heliocentric was recorded and mixed. The album will be mastered on August 25th by Svante Forsbäck in Helsinki.
Musically, the album feels somehow heavier than Heliocentric. "The sound is more dense and maybe a tad more raw, which suits the songs perfectly", comments guitar player Jonathan Nido. The album covers a similar sonic and dynamic range as Heliocentric, also including a number of calm, acoustic moments – but these are for the most part orchestrated with guitars, and not so much with piano and string section. The focus is on the heavy songs: "The album is a pretty big production, and still has a very earthy, organic feel to it", comments Staps. "We have spent a great deal of time on the basic sound this time around, drums, bass, guitars and vocals… and at this stage I am pretty confident that this will pay off in the end!"
As far as the concepts behind Anthropocentric are concerned, the focus is on man and his place in the universe: at the center, as many fundamental Christians still claim today, or more likely a dust particle in its periphery? All lyrics are circling around this question. "Anthropocentric will continue the critique of christianity, inspired by the questions that Dostoyevsky asked and some of the answers that Friedrich Nietzsche and Richard Dawkins gave", comments Staps.
At the base of the album are three songs with the titles "The Grand Inquisitor I, II and III". These songs have been inspired by the chapter of the same title in Fjodor Dostoyevsky's novel The Brothers Karamasov: a conversation between the brothers Ivan, an atheist, and Alyoscha, a monk. Ivan tells Alyoscha the story of a Second Coming of Christ in 16th century Sevilla. According to this parable, Jesus is arrested by the Catholic inquisition. The grand inquisitor who interrogates Jesus casts a new light on the legend of the temptation of Christ: he reproaches Jesus with having betrayed humanity and having deprived man of salvation by giving him freedom. The conversation between Ivan and Alyoscha mirrors, to some degree, the conversation between the grand inquisitor and Christ and raises more questions than it answers. "This long dialogue, which for the most part is rather a monologue of Ivan, is so complex and recondite that one could easily find inspiration for 10 concept albums about Christianity in it", comments Staps.
Only 6 guest musicians are appearing on the album, all classical musicians, most of whom are guesting on the final track of the album. Anthropocentric is an album by The Ocean's consolidated nucleus. "It is the first album where all members have actively partaken in the songwriting", comments Staps.

Metal Blade Records set to release OSI's 2003 release OFFICE OF STRATEGIC INFLUENCE this September!
On September 24/27, 2010 Metal Blade Records will be releasing the re-issue of super group OSI's self-titled 2003 release OFFICE OF STRATEGIC INFLUENCE. The Multimedia section is approximately 19 minutes long and includes a concept piece directed and edited by Kevin Moore for Horseshoes and B-52's as well as two separate documentary style clips shot at Carriage House Studios during the recording of the album.
OSI (Office of Strategic Influence) is an American progressive experimental super-group formed by Fates Warning guitarist Jim Matheos back in 2003 and features the talents of Kevin Moore (Chroma Key, Dream Theater). The band's name refers to the short-lived US government agency Office of Strategic Influence which was established shortly after 9/11 to manufacture and promote pro-US propaganda in domestic and foreign media. OSI inked a deal with Metal Blade Records back in May and is currently working on their fourth album and Metal Blade debut, which will be out in 2011. The band gained a strong underground following through the release of their 3 full-length records and an EP. Their 2009 album, Blood and includes guests Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth). Past participants include Mike Portnoy on the first two albums, Sean Malone and Steven Wilson on the debut, and Joey Vera (Armored Saint, Fates Warning) on Free.
OSI's music can't easily be pigeonholed and is a completely different animal when compared to its founders' other projects. The music is a combination of dark rock chorus' with atmospheric, often industrial keys and is an eclectic mix of both Moore's and Matheos' influences.
Office Of Strategic Influence will be released on Metal Blade Records the 24th/27th of September 2010!

RETURN TO EARTH premieres music video for 'Automata'!
