THIS ENDING video clip for 'Dead Harvest' available online!
[14/05/09] Swedish Deathers THIS ENDING feat. AMON AMARTH drummer Fredrik Andersson have just made their brand new video clip available online. Please click on http://vids.myspace.com or http://www.myspace.com and watch the war inspired movie they shot for the title track of their latest record 'Dead Harvest', which came out on Metal Blade Records in January this year!
The clip was shot by the same team that had already worked on the previous clip THIS ENDING did for the song 'Parasites', taken from 'Dead Harvest' as well. If you have seen this one you’ll know what to expect from 'Dead Harvest'!
Comments singer Marten Hansen: "We decided a video for the title track of 'Dead Harvest' was due. Both we and the fans agree that 'Parasites' was a great video so we decided to work with Marcus Tinnerholm again. We trusted him to do a great job and he didn't let us down. The video was shot at three different locations during two days. We chose devastation as the main concept for the video and the locations were selected with that in mind. We also used archive war footage to further enhance the idea behind the lyrics and the overall theme. This was the second time working with Marcus and his crew and we all felt comfortable and focused. We were able to get all the shots we wanted and worked effectively and as a team. The shoots were not without their problems though. At one of the locations an alarm was accidentally triggered, prompting the immediate arrival of a small army of police armed with everything from automatic weapons to grenade launchers. In the end we had a video we are very pleased with and that we feel fits 'Dead Harvest' well. We'll be working with Marcus again in the future no doubt. Enjoy the video for 'Dead Harvest'!”
