THE RED CHORD's new video 'Demoralizer' exclusively on BloodyDisgusting.com!
Boston, Mass grind metalers THE RED CHORD have unleashed the video for the track Demoralizer this weekend on BloodyDisgusting.com or on the Horror Movie Community on MySpace.com that BD just took over HERE. Demoralizer, off the band's latest release Fed Through the Teeth Machine, was shot on vocalist Guy Kozowyk's property in abandoned ceramics factory on Halloween and showcases some pretty gruesome illustrations by artist Tim Kellen, which were animated and brought to life by director Dave Brodsky of MyGoodEye. The artist used charcoal, meat, grape jelly, and chicken-guts in his illustrations, giving the Demoralizer video a truly bizarre appearance. Fans will be able to check out the video exclusively on BloodyDisgusting.com throughout the holiday weekend, after which the video will be uploaded to the Metal Blade YouTube Channel.
Bloody-Disgusting is a leader in the online horror community, delivering sought after content such as horror movie reviews, trailers, interviews, news, and now music content.

THE RED CHORD replace drummer!
THE RED CHORD will be performing with original drummer, Michael Justian at all upcoming shows. Justian has not publicly performed with the group since the Maryland Deathfest of 2004, and replaces recently departed drummer, Brad Fickeisen. Justian left THE RED CHORD at the end of 2003, joined Unearth in 2004 and also spent time filling in for Trap Them, Earth Crisis, Shai Hulud and 108 in the interim.
Says guitarist, Mike McKenzie, “It’s great to be jamming with Mike again. His approach to drumming is truly unique and amazing. Even though it has been about 6 years since he has played this stuff, his playing is stronger than ever. We’ve rehearsed almost every day for the last month and we can’t wait to do this live again.”

THE RED CHORD breaks the Billboard Top 200 with ‘Fed Through the Teeth Machine'!
Boston Massachusetts metallers THE RED CHORD have hit the Billboard Top 200 chart at #180 with the release of their new studio album, Fed Through the Teeth Machine. THE RED CHORD also debuted at #34 on the Billboard Hard Music chart and #6 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart. Fed Through the Teeth Machine cracked the Neilson Sound Scan charts in Canada coming in at #57 on the Independent charts and #70 on the Hard charts. Boston Massachusetts metalers THE RED CHORD are gearing up for the release of their fourth full length album (third for Metal Blade) titled Fed Through The Teeth Machine, due out on October 23/26 in Europe.
Here’s what guitarist Mike “Gunface” McKenzie has to say about the band’s new album Fed Through The Teeth Machine: "We spent the last year working hard on this one and we're excited for everyone to finally hear it. It's a lot faster and, in my opinion, more straight forward in a structural sense. We're really happy with the great work Jonny Fay and Zeuss did too. It's not a concept record, but there are some loose conceptual elements to it: hygienic obsession, delusional compound-dwellers and Maniac Mansion. Get ready to make fun of us on the internet!"

THE RED CHORD announces title of new album!
[25/06/09] Boston, Massachusetts death metal/grindcore band THE RED CHORD has set 'Fed Through The Teeth Machine' as the title of its fourth album, tentatively due this fall via Metal Blade Records. The CD is being recorded at Jonny Fay Backyard Studios, which is owned by the band's former guitarist Jonny Fay, and will be mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with Hatebreed and Shadows Fall, among others.
Regarding the new album title, vocalist Guy Kozowyk said: "It's from the Discovery Channel show 'How It's Made'. They were talking about this machine they feed zippers through, but we just thought the name was creepy."
The disc will be the band's first since the mid-2007 depature of Faye, whom the group chose not to replace. "With the economy being so bad, we figured it was time to downsize," Kozowyk said, only half-joking. "Writing as a four-piece is actually more efficient because there's one less opinion you have to deal with."
Kozowyk says the new songs are more intense and mature than those on 2007's 'Prey for Eyes'. "It's faster and heavier, but it's definitely groove-oriented and melodic where it needs to be," he said.
