Multinational Heavy Metal warlords POWERWOLF recently finished shooting a video clip for the song We Drink Your Blood from their upcoming album Blood Of The Saints!
According to their sacral image and the concept of Blood Of The Saints, POWERWOLF shot the video in an ancient monastery church. “Shooting the video in such a special and atmospheric place was incredible”, comments organist Falk Maria Schlegel. “The combination of the sacral interior of the church, including altar, confessional box and a church organ with a lot of fire, fog and metal insanity was the perfect set for a POWERWOLF video!”

Multinational Heavy Metallers POWERWOLF announce details on bonus disc content off their new album 'Blood Of The Saints'! Launch new website!
Multinational Heavy Metallers POWERWOLF have announced details about the bonus content off their upcoming new album Blood Of The Saints which will be released as a limited Digibook edition including a bonus disc. Additionally a regular jewelcase cd (without bonus disc) will be available as well as a gatefold-LP!
For the bonus CD the wolves realized a special project. In cooperation with the Russian score composer Dominic G. Joutsen they elaborated a classical orchestra piece based on five POWERWOLF songs, entitled "The sacrilege symphony (and still the orchestra prays)".
"This was a very special and challenging project" comments Matthew Greywolf. "Working with a classical composer demands a whole different approach to your own music. And the result is simply stunning".
Attila Dorn completed the orchestra versions with a classical vocal performace. "It was a long-kept dream of mine to perform some of my favourite Powerwolf songs as classical versions and I think it offers a very sophisticated yet haunting vision of Powerwolf's music" reports Attila.

Multinational Heavy Metallers POWERWOLF have set 'Blood Of The Saints' as the title for their upcoming fourth longplayer.
'Blood Of The Saints' will be released July, 29 (G/A/S) / August, 1 via Metal Blade Records in Europe. The album will be released as a regular CD, a limited edition Digibook 2-CD (exact content to be revealed shortly) and on vinyl. POWERWOLF have finished recordings on their upcoming fourth album!
Multinational Heavy Metallers POWERWOLF have finished the recordings on their upcoming yet untitled fourth album. This time the pack invaded none less than five studios and two churches to get their latest metal hymns in shape!
In total more than 70 people participated in the genesis of the follow up to the successor of 2009s Bible Of The Beast! Comments guitarist Matthew Greywolf: "Halelujah, it's done! After countless days of struggle we have finally finished the work on the upcoming album. Still hard to believe the recording-crusade has come to an end - but holding the result in hands we feel more than proud and satisfied. We can promise you a goddamn great piece of wolfish metal insanity!"
The fourth POWERWOLF album will be released in July - right in time for their live celebrations at Summer Breeze and Metalcamp.

POWERWOLF entering studio in December!
The wolves are currently busy writing new songs for the follow up album to their glorious third strike Bible Of The Beast,. "We spent the last three months in the rehearsal room working out stuff for the new album. Even though it's still in the making we can already promise the songs are 100% Powerwolf, taking off where "Bible Of The Beast" ended – there's furious stuff, there's epic stuff - and all of it is catchy as hell", comments organist Falk Maria Schlegel.
"For the production we're going to team up with exactly the same crew as for "Bible Of The Beast" - Kohlekeller Studios for the recordings, any chapel we can haunt for organ and choir celebrations - and of course Studio Fredman and Fredrik Nordström for mix."
POWERWOLF will invade the studio in December and the recording process will last until February. Expect a tentative release midyear 2011. More details and updates will follow.

Transylvanian Heavy Metal werewolves POWERWOLF have just been confirmed to perform at UK's Bloodsock Open Air!
The wolves will have the honour to headline the 2nd stage on Friday 13th of August.

Multinational Heavy Metal ladykillers POWERWOLF have to announce the first line-up change in their glorious history.
Comments the band: "Stefane Funebre will have to focus on his increasing religious duties in the future and will therefore no longer be able to join the wolves on their crusade. Funebre will however remain a part of the pack for life and will keep supporting us with his spiritual and mental guidance behind the scenes. As the new member of the wolfpack we welcome Tom Diener, who will take place on the holy drumseat in the future. Tom already toured with us as temporary replacement for Funebre during the last 12 months and in the meantime has become a true member of the pack and a master of the ceremony. Be sure he will unleash some great metal madness with us in the future!"
