Jägermeister have just announced details of their next 'Ice Cold' Studio Session, where rock bands and icons meet for the first time in a recording studio and 'break the ice' by working on a track together. The next 'Ice Cold' Studio Session will feature British heavy metal band MALEFICE and football legend Marcus Hahnemann and will take place at London's famous Strongroom Studios on January 17th. Marcus Hahnemann, US international goalkeeper ("Best goalkeeper in the world" – 2009/2010 Castrol Performance Index) who is currently playing for Everton is a well known heavy metal fan but this will be the first time he has ever taken his passion for metal into a recording studio. Marcus Hahnemann said: "Today I have come down to London for the Arsenal game. Getting ready for the game always includes some heavy rock to get me going. But I can't stop thinking about when I am coming back down here in a few weeks to record with Malefice! So hopefully my love of music and their love of football with translate to a really cool track!" Reading band MALEFICE are one of the leading exponents of modern British heavy metal and released their album *Awaken The Tides* to critical acclaim earlier in the year. After a baptism of fire standing in for Alex Vuskans on the bands recent UK run with Sylosis MALEFICE have announced that Andy Wilson will take over on a permanent basis. Andy Wilson comments: "I am very excited to be taking on the Malefice slot full time, the Sylosis tour couldn't have gone any better and the musical chemistry is undeniable. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the band." Frontman Dale Butler adds: "There's always controversy surrounding a band member leaving in any band. But I can't stress enough how there is none in this situation. Alex felt he could no longer continue to give 100% to Malefice, and between us we decided that it would be better for him to leave. Alex is closer to me than most of my family, he'll always be my brother no matter what and nothing will change between us all on a personal level. "Those of you that saw us on the Sylosis tour will have seen Andy at work. The guy is a fucking machine, and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have as my lead guitarist!
