With the critical praise and fan adoration bestowed upon 2009's Ruination, it would have been easy for the band to rest upon their proverbial laurels and serve up Ruination Part II. But from the moment Demonocracy roars to life it is wholly evident that this is a far more musically accomplished beast that takes their signature sound to the next level. From the abrasive blast of opener "Children Of Deceit" to the disconcerting strains of "The Deity Misconception" or the brooding, heart wrenching closer "Tarnished Gluttony". A record drenched in equal parts misanthropy and naked rage, and from start to finish they suspend the listener by the throat.
A key factor in this progression was the change in the band's ranks, which finds vocalist Jonny Davy, drummer Jon "Charn" Rice, and guitarist Al Glassman joined by guitarist Tony Sannicandro, who met Al when he was a session guitarist for Despised Icon and filled the slot vacated by Thompson. In addition, Cephalic Carnage bassist Nick Schendzielos replaces Brent Riggs. Having initially brought Sannicandro and Schendzielos on as touring musicians, the members immediately gelled, and first wrote together on 2011's Gloom EP, sealing the deal and securing their places as full-fledged members of the band.
Guitarist Tony Sannicandro believes he made a very natural addition into the band's ranks, and he's proud to bring his intricate style to JOB FOR A COWBOY's instantly recognizable sound. "I think I bring more of an old school guitar approach to the band. Obviously before the band got me there wasn't a lot of lead work. On the new album has a solo on every song. I think I've done the best work of my life on there," he states. Equally, no one can doubt Schendzielos' musical pedigree and formidable skills, and the bassist is looking to really make a mark through his work with the band. "It's really invigorating that the cats in JFAC are into my style because there is such a great expanse of uncharted territory for bass in metal," he states. "Cephalic is notorious for our chaotic and vigorous live performances alongside an expansive and dilatant range of metal stylings. I'm bringing all that experience with me and combining it with the talents of these splendid men to make my best bass work to date."

CANNIBAL CORPSE and JOB FOR A COWBOY set for first ever Metal Hammer "Destroyers Of The Faith" Tour!
Legendary death metal innovators CANNIBAL CORPSE will headline the first-ever edition of Metal Hammer's Destroyers Of The Faith tour, and will be bringing with them some of the biggest names in extreme music!
Joining the New York titans of gore on this history-making trek will be none other than bowel-exploding doom metal kings TRIPTYKON, spearheaded by seminal extreme metal icon Tom G Warrior of Celtic Frost and Hellhammer fame. And, as if that wasn't enough, both bands will also be joined by veteran Norwegian progressive black metallers ENSLAVED and Arizona death metal favourites, JOB FOR A COWBOY!
"Just being a part of such a killer package and having these bands on there, it's gonna be an exciting time and a great tour for the UK," says CANNIBAL CORPSE drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz. "I hope all the fans are really pumped for this one, because we definitely are! This is the first time that this is happening in the UK, and it's very exciting."

CANNIBAL CORPSE has begun recording their twelfth studio album at Sonic Ranch studios in Texas with producer Erik Rutan. The band has spent months writing the album and has recorded at Sonic Ranch in the past, but never with Rutan at the helm. More details on the album, including art, songs, title and more will be revealed in the months to follow. For now, the band is hard at work forging their next death metal offering!

JOB FOR A COWBOY enter studio to record new EP!
Glendale, AZ extreme metal band JOB FOR A COWBOY (also JFAC) have entered Floridas Audio Hammer Studios with producer Jason Suecof to record an EP of all new material. The as-yet-untitled EP will feature the first new music from the band since 2009s Ruination LP which landed at #42 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. A spring release via Metal Blade records is expected.
"It felt like a long time since we last got together to write new material," commented JOB FOR A COWBOY vocalist Jonny Davy. "After collaborating in the snow of Boston, we're now recording our second EP. It feels good to be in Florida with Jason, Ron and Eyal of Audio Hammer studios. JFAC 2.0 is on the way."

In the short time since the release of the bands 2005 EP Doom, the group has progressed from "the band with the different name" to one of the leading lights for heavy music in the 21st century. JOB FOR A COWBOY and WHITECHAPEL are about to head over to Europe to kick off one of the most furious and brutal tours to hit Europe in a long time!
Both Metal Blade outfits slayed on various locations in the summer of 2010 and can't wait to team up again after steamrollering through the USA recently.

The video was shot on location in downtown Philadelphia, PA and at the city's distinguished music venue, The First Unitarian Church. The clip was shot by Doug Spangenberg for Space Monkey Studios (Lamb Of God, Maroon 5) and features JOB FOR A COWBOY doing what the band does best; bringing its electrifying live show directly to a crowd of rabid fans. Beginning July 10 at 9:00 PM PST, the video will also be available on the main page of Yahoo! Music.
