Metal Blade to re-issue FATES WARNING´s 'Inside Out' album as a 3-disc-package!
FATES WARNING! A classic name not only on the Metal Blade roster but within the Metal scene in general. In the course of our ongoing re-release series the band's classic Inside Out is another must have item. FATES WARNING have always been one of the most influential bands within the metal scene. Being one of the founders of the Progressive Metal movement they have influenced the likes of QUEENSRYCHE or DREAM THEATER among many others.
This re-release offers value for money as it comes as a double CD plus bonus-DVD. It contains the classic original album as well as live tracks from a German show FATES WARNING played in Dusseldorf in 1995 and unreleased demo takes for the audio part. The bonus-DVD contains a whole bunch of live clips, mainly from the years 1994 and 1995. Full track listing below.

Metal Blade to release FATES WARNING classics 'Night On Bröcken' and 'The Spectre Within' on gatefold vinyl!
Finally these US Metal classics will be available again on vinyl! Strictly limited to 1.000 hand-numbered copies each and in time for the one and only European live performance of ARCH/MATHEOS in 2012 at the infamous Keep It True festival!
Both these early works of FATES WARNING - featuring original singer John Arch - will be released on gatefold vinyl with the original cover art and the remastered versions of the album tracks.
Night On Bröcken will be available on 180g black vinyl and green colored vinyl while The Spectre Within will be available on 180g black vinyl and blue colored vinyl.
Both albums will be available from Metal Blade Europe April 27th/30th!

Arch / Matheos currently tracking in the studio
Jim Matheos (current member of the progressive rock powerhouse Fates Warning and OSI) and John Arch (former vocalist of Fates Warning) are currently working together on a new full-length album that will be released in late spring/early summer via Metal Blade Records.
The band, called ARCH / MATHEOS, began tracking the drums on January 12 and will continue to record through mid February with both John Arch and Jim Matheos producing the album. ARCH / MATHEOS features an all-star lineup including the talents of Joey Vera on bass (Armored Saint, Anthrax, Fates Warning, Seven Witches), Bobby Jarzombek on drums (Halford, Fates Warning, Sebastian Bach, Riot), and Frank Aresti on additional lead guitar (Fates Warning). FATES WARNING to release deluxe edition of ‘Parallels’! Video trailer posted!
FATES WARNING has announced the release of the deluxe edition of their seminal 1991 album, Parallels! Fans can get their hands on this new take on the album on March 12/15, 2010 in Europe. The deluxe edition has been completely re-mastered and contains well over 3 hours of music and live footage. Parallels is the sixth record from the prog metal pioneers and was one of their music successful releases due to the commercial success of the singles Eye To Eye, Point Of View and We Only Say Goodbye.
Also, James LaBrie of Dream Theater fame makes a guest appearance on the track Life In Still Water. Parallels has proven to be one of the most influential albums in the prog and metal genres, despite its hotly debated status among fans as a “commercial” sounding album.
Vocalist Ray Alder comments further, “I think it´s one of the best albums we ever put out and I´m happy that fans have the chance to take a second look at this important record. The lineup, the songs and the cover art all came together to make a great package when originally recorded and the bonus DVD really adds a fresh perspective to the album.”

FATES WARNING Deluxe reissue of ‘Parallels’ is coming!
In March Metal Blade Records will release a 3-disc special deluxe edition of Parallels, the classic 1991 album from the progressive metal gods FATES WARNING. In addition to remastered audio, there will be a second audio disc of live and demo material. The package will also include a DVD with nearly three hours of material, including a complete live show from the 1992 Parallels tour and a documentary on the making of Parallels which includes live, studio, and current day interview footage with all the band members, Terry Brown (producer) and Brian Slagel (CEO of Metal Blade Records).
