EVERGREEN TERRACE and UNEARTH to return to Europe in December for Persistence Tour!
EVERGREEN TERRACE just returned back home from a very successful, full European Summer tour while UNEARTH toured Europe in the same period of time with 36 Crazyfists and destroyed cities and stages on a daily basis!
Now both bands return together to Europe in December to be part of the great Persistence tour. The Persistence tour is an institution in the Hardcore and Metal scene - sold out venues guaranteed! Make sure to get your tickets in time.
Other bands on the bill include the greats of Sick Of It All, Sepultura and Blood For Blood! More bands to be confirmed soon…
Comments UNEARTH: "We said we would be announcing one last go around in North America and Europe on "The March" touring cycle and we can now announce the European portion of that tour. We will be joining the Persistence Tour this coming December for a week and a half of festival style shows in big clubs. Not all the bands are announced yet, but we can say Sick of It All, Sepultura, Blood for Blood and Evergreen Terrace will be with us on the road. You can count on a handful of other great bands to be part of this bill as this festival tour has a great history of solid line ups from start to finish. EVERGREEN TERRACE will be joined by Casey Jones drummer Caleb James on their upcoming European dates.
Josh James comments: "Caleb James from Casey Jones is back behind the drums playing with Evergreen Terrace! A lot of you saw Caleb on stage with us on tour in the states and in Europe last summer. We're headed to Europe in a couple weeks to shred a bunch of fests and club shows, afterwards we will be on the second half of Thrash and Burn in the states. Come out and give Caleb a kiss on the lips".
Hailing from Jacksonville, FL Evergreen Terrace has been blazing their own path through the melodic hardcore style for over a decade now. Anchored by guitar player/vocalist Craig Chaney's clean singing and catchy hooks, punctuated by lead singer Andrew Carey's vicious screamed vocals, the five-piece band never depended on anyone but themselves to push their band forward. Rounding out the lineup alongside Andrew and Craig is Josh James (guitar/vocals) as permanent members.
With their blistering combination of melodic hardcore, metal and punk-rock strains, Evergreen Terrace has toured the world with bands like As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Hatebreed, Rise Against, Thursday, Circa Survive, Everytime I Die, Strung Out, Agnostic Front and many more. Almost Home, EVERGREEN TERRACE's newest effort, has cracked the charts in its debut week. The album landed at #17 on Billboard's Heatseeker chart, #52 on Billboard's Hard Music chart and #53 on Billboard's Independent album chart. Almost Home also had a huge first week in Canada, coming it at #55 on the Nielsen Soundscan Independent chart and #76 on the Hard Music chart.

Evergreen Terrace announces track listing for new album ‘Almost Home’ and reveal front cover!
[03/09/09] Jacksonville, FL’s EVERGREEN TERRACE have announced the track listing for their upcoming full length, Almost Home, due out September 25/28 on Metal Blade Records!
"We've always had a lot of pop culture references in our song titles and this record is no exception. Before we even started writing new songs we already have a list of titles from books, movies, and comedians. Half of the song titles on this record are pulled from the lyrics. The others are pop culture references hat relate to the lyrical content." Guitarist Josh James said.

Splitting the recording process of the album in half, they tracked all the music at Martell Studios and all of the vocals were recorded by Audio Hammer Studios (August Burns Red, Bury Your Dead, Trivium).
Continuing their blistering combination of melodic hardcore and metal, EVERGREEN TERRACE has gone back to their roots for ‘Almost Home’. “I think this record will surprise the new listeners as well as have the old ones stoked. I'd say its best described as a good mixture of Burned Alive by Time and Wolfbiker", comments James.

Speaking on the significance of the new album's title, James says: "We are a touring band, and it feels like we are forever saying we're 'almost home'. Touring is something that nothing compares to, but there's a feeling of almost being home that resonates with all of us. In a way the band has come full circle back to its original home. We started this band for fun, and it lead us to success. Writing this album has brought us back to the beginning. It has been fun, crazy, frustrating, insomniatic and even with the inevitable pressure, pretty carefree."
'Almost Home' is the band's 6th studio album and will be available in Europe on September 25 / 28!
EVERGREEN TERRACE's drummer, Kyle Mims, was recently injured in a bike accident and suffered a broken collar bone.

"On July 2nd, Kyle went back to the doctors and they told him that if he wants to continue to play drums he will have to have surgery. The surgery will cost him $10,000. They require $5,000 up front and the other $5,000 once the surgery is complete. His emergency room bills, tests, ambulance ride, etc. is estimated to be an additional $10,000. He was very close to receiving health insurance thru his work, but unfortunately this happened before it did.
