Commended by Stereokiller in an early review for being "their most focused and intelligent album yet… this is another solid CATTLE DECAP release that proves again that they are not to be fucked with," and noted for being "arguably the quartet's strongest effort to date," by Blistering, the record was produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio and finds the progressive grind conjurers exploring innovative new techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage.

CATTLE DECAPITATION premiere 'Kingdom Of Tyrants' video at Bloody Disgusting!
Today premiere horror one-stop, Bloody Disgusting, hosts the exclusive premiere of Kingdom of Tyrants from CATTLE DECAPITATION's forthcoming Monolith Of Inhumanity studio offering. The disturbingly twisted 9-minute mini film was directed by Mitch Massie with live band footage shot in San Marcos, California by Tyson Montrucchio.

Comments singer Travis Ryan: "We've kicked around the idea of doing a mini-film out of a song that has a big intro for years now and when I saw Mitch Massie's work on one of our friends' videos, we knew he would be the one to pull it off. We had no idea he would bring it to a level such as this though. The 'Kingdom of Tyrants' mini-film completely leveled our expectations. Having given him director styles I would have liked to see used such as Matthew Barney, Harmony Korine and Ridley Scott, I still never assumed we would have received something so in line with what we had in mind for this as what you see here with this video. It's disturbing. It's thought-provoking. Its 100% CATTLE DECAPITATION and in the direction we've been heading. Massie is the man and this is by far the best video we've ever had the pleasure to be a part of."

Adds director Mitch Massie: "I acknowledge that I will rightfully burn in some subdivision of Hell for even attempting a rough tribute to Kubrick, but at least I will make Hell a home with CATTLE DECAPITATION and a few other damned risk-takers as neighbors. When Travis and I spoke about the concept it was a comforting fact that he too had reservations about picking fruits from the Kubrick tree. It wasn't until the first night of production was over and we sat down to watch the shaky rough footage when a rather sardonic thought sparked the flint that ignited the funeral pyre in me, 'fuck it, while we are here, as parts of our generation that dry-humps references in an over-saturated landfill of technological trinkets -- where nothing is sacred -- anyway, we might as well bury the rest of the masters in the filth they inspired in us and enter our homes justified. I'm a soulless ginger anyway so what do I care about these new risks of damnation when I never had a chance to begin with?' Every move made in a music video production is dictated only by the song and when listening to the 'The Monolith' and/or 'Kingdom of Tyrants' can one truly feel it is anything but a beautiful damnation? I will never know but can only hope that I married images with the song so well that the monolith may swing back around with a chance to evolve, or completely de-evolve into some foul animal, and do another damned project for this incendiary and all around amazing band."

Witness the cinematic sickness at THIS LOCATION!

An achievement that stands out as one of the most volatile, ambitious, and impossible-to-pigeonhole records of 2012, Monolith Of Inhumanity is set for a European release on May 4th/7th, 2012. Produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio, the 11-track recording sees the progressive grind purveyors exploring innovative new techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage. In addition, Monolith Of Inhumanity features a host of guests including Mike Majewski of Devourment (guest vocals on "Projectile Ovulation"), Lenard Leal of Cephalic Carnage (backing vocals by on "A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat"), The Cephalic Carnage Community Men's Choir, consisting of all current Cephalic members and alumni Jawsh Mullen and Zac Joe (gang choir vocals on "The Carbon Stampede"), and ambient and noise interludes by Los Angeles' most extreme decimator of sound, John Wiese. As with all of the band's releases, Monolith Of Inhumanity revolves around a central concept, building upon Ryan's potent distaste for contemporary civilization and the damage wrought in the name of progress. A concept inspired in part by 2001: A Space Odyssey is once again captured in the cover art by longtime collaborator Wes Benscoter, depicting a bleak apocalyptic future and the regression of mankind into apes.

CATTLE DECAPITATION release second single 'Lifestalker' exclusively via website of Metal Hammer Germany!
Today California progressive grind conquerors CATTLE DECAPITATION release Lifestalker, the second single of their new album Monolith Of Inhumanity!

Set for European release on May, 4th/7th, 2012, the record was produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio and sees the band exploring innovative new techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage and self-loathing lyrical content.

Check out Lifestalker at THIS LOCATION.

Comments singer Travis Ryan: "We just returned from a great European tour where we played a ton of new songs which were received extremely well by everyone over there! So much so that we decided to premiere the second sample track of our new album Monolith of Inhumanity on a European website for all our fans and the new fans we just made during this last tour! We had a blast and we hope you all get a kick out of the new track "Lifestalker". This new album is light years ahead of the rest of our albums and we look forward to coming back to Europe to decapitate you all with it!"

Monolith Of Inhumanity is an achievement that stands out as one of the most volatile, ambitious, and impossible to aptly categorize records you will hear in 2012. Dragging their ever-evolving deathgrind sound kicking and screaming into the epic territory inhabited by the likes of Dimmu Borgir and Anaal Nathrakh, the quartet redefine all perceptions of what CATTLE DECAPITATION is. With their seventh full-length, the band have never sounded more focused, aggressive, or manically determined to get in the faces of those who erroneously believe they've already experienced the band at their extreme best.

The 11-track Monolith Of Inhumanity features a host of guests including Mike Majewski of Devourment (guest vocals on "Projectile Ovulation"), Lenard Leal of Cephalic Carnage (backing vocals by on "A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat"), The Cephalic Carnage Community Men's Choir, consisting of all current Cephalic members and alumni Jawsh Mullen and Zac Joe (gang choir vocals on "The Carbon Stampede"), and ambient and noise interludes by Los Angeles' most extreme decimator of sound, John Wiese, as well as another strikingly brutal cover by Wes Benscoter.

CATTLE DECAPITATION announce new album 'Monolith of Inhumanity'!
New song, 'A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat', now on-line

Three years have lapsed since society has been spewed upon by a CATTLE DECAPITATION album. In those three years the band has toured the globe, gained a legion of new fans with said album (The Harvest Floor) and have now written their most palatable, yet abrasive record yet. Even with song titles like Projectile Ovulation, Forced Gender Re-Assignment and Gristle Licker, CATTLE DECAPITATION have managed to forge yet another beautiful deathscape that will leave fans of 2009's The Harvest Floor breathless, spent and begging for mercy.

Monolith of Inhumanity is the band's fifth studio release on Metal Blade Records, in which once again sees CATTLE DECAPITATION exploring additional techniques in song writing and musical progressions. Not straying away from the frenzied guitar playing, machine gun intensity drumming, bowel movement inducing vocals, and of course self-loathing lyrical content, Monolith of Inhumanity will mark the band's most accomplished record to date. Recruiting some fresh meat in the way of Dave Otero to handle all of the studio duties, the band has accomplished what they have longed to do for an album. Adding Otero to the mix gave CATTLE DECAPITATION the missing component. Artwork is once again being handled by Wes Benscoter. The culmination of Benscoter's unearthly abilities fused with Travis Ryan's demented view have once again proven to be memorable and fitting for what the music holds in store for the listener.

CATTLE have also collaborated with famed pop culture artist Tom Bunk for a very special art project that will be available from the band's webstore. Tom is best known for his work for the 1980's Garbage Pail Kids trading cards, his work with MAD Magazine, and has created an incredible GPK inspired CATTLE DECAPITATION trading card set that must be seen to be believed. Needless to say, the collaboration between the two camps is like Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacey being pen pals.

CATTLE DECAPITATION will continue to tour in support of Monolith of Inhumanity across the globe, starting in the USA with long time friends ORIGIN. Summer 2012 will also mark the band's first time playing European Summer Festivals.

Monolith will continue to cement CATTLE's legacy as one of the most influential and important bands in extreme music. As MetalSucks.net puts it: "Cattle Decapitation have the sort of skills that put them squarely at the head of grind's noisy pack."

The first single from Monolith of Inhumanity is available now at metalblade.com/cattledecapitation. Head there to listen to A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat to preview the depravity to come! Pre-order bundles are also available on the site and fans can keep checking back to see studio footage and more updates as they are made available.

Monolith of Inhumanity will be released May 4th/7th via Metal Blade Records in Europe!

CATTLE DECAPITATION finishes recording new album! Confirm European tour with SUFFOCATION!
CATTLE DECAPITATION wrapped up recording their new album last week and have returned home for a couple weeks before heading out for their European tour with Suffocation! The album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio. The humans of earth can expect a much more updated production, complete with some surprising guest appearances and the kind of musical exploration that garnered the band droves of new fans with 2009's The Harvest Floor. Once again, CATTLE DECAPITATION gives us more extravagantly intense artwork from artist Wes Benscoter and the CD/LP layout are as over the top as the album's concept itself.

Some of the track titles on the new album include: Forced Gender Reassignment, A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat, and The Carbon Stampede. All of the details from the new album such as, cover art, track list, guest appearances, and pre-order info will be revealed in the coming months.

CATTLE DECAPITATION is also pleased to announce their participation in the "Reborn of Death" European tour from Death Metal Kings SUFFOCATION. CATTLE DECAPITATION will be direct support.

Vocalist Travis Ryan: "We are very excited to come back to Europe to play some of our new stuff for everyone! We're also stoked to reunite with our friends in Suffocation for some annihilation across the pond. This also marks our first ever appearance at the Neurotic Death Fest which we are really looking forward to! See you soon!"

CATTLE DECAPITATION begins recording new album!
CATTLE DECAPITATION entered Denver, CO's Flatline Audio on January 7th to record the highly anticipated follow-up to their critically-acclaimed album The Harvest Floor (2009 on Metal Blade Records).

Front man Travis Ryan has this to say: "We spent the first two days mapping out tempos and getting things situated, drums mic'd all that stuff. Just started tracking drums today and everything is sounding great! We're excited to start laying down some tones and getting this beast finished and in the hands of our fans and friends."

The band has a small crew filming all steps of the way so fans of the band can look forward to studio video reports via the band's YOUTUBE channel and getting the full album details in the coming weeks when album title, cover image and track listing as well as immediate U.S. and European tour plans are revealed!

The new album will be the follow up to the critically acclaimed The Harvest Floor. The album is widely accepted as the band's most accomplished and best release to date. The CD garnered heaps of praise from fans and press alike.

CATTLE DECAPITATION new album writing update announcement; video teaser available!
In November 2010, CATTLE DECAPITATION returned home from headlining The California Blood Tour and decided to take the next year off and immediately began writing the follow up to their critically-acclaimed 2009 release The Harvest Floor.

CATTLE DECAPITATION has been holed up in the confines of their rehearsal studio in National City, California ever since and are preparing to unleash a new slab of human-dissecting carnage for a spring 2012 release via Metal Blade Records. The band will be recording in January/February in Denver, Colorado at Flatline Audio with producer/engineer Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter, Trivium) and will play a small handful of shows on the way out to Denver showcasing their new material.

Artist Wes Benscoter is again on board to deliver more breathtaking GOREgeousness to the album cover as he has done on their past 4 releases. Metal Blade will be announcing the album title, cover image and concept in the next few months.

Here’s what guitarist Josh Elmore has to say about the new material: "As it comes down to the home stretch before recording, we have been focusing on getting the last two songs written as well as refining and tightening the tracks which are already completed. The overwhelming impression I get from this new batch of tunes is that they have benefitted greatly from a more streamlined approach to composition and song structure. A lot of these songs are very "to-the-point" with just enough embellishment to keep them dynamic, whilst avoiding sinking into some bells-and-whistles mire. Lean and mean.

There will be no forays in 8-string djentiness and none of us bought v-neck shirts or deck shoes to "modernize" our sound and look, respectively. Expect some riffy, ripping blackened deathgrind with nods to our past work and tastes of what's to come. These songs are going to be a blast to play live and we are anxious to have these recorded and get on the road to play them for you."

The band’s friend who simply goes by the tag "T-R3X" has provided a quick teaser video available below showing the band hard at work on new material! That video is available now on CATTLE DECAPITATION´s official youtube channel HERE!
