ANIMA post second song of new album 'Enter The Killzone'! Release show announced!
Germany's most moshing Deathcore assembly ANIMA has uploaded the second song of their new album Enter The Killzone!

Enter The Killzone was recorded, mixed and mastered by Sebastian Reichl in the Slaughter's Palace studios.
Comments the band: "From the beginning every member of the band knew that the outcome should be different this time, totally different! After one year of hard work twelve songs were ready, outshining everything on "The Daily Grind". These songs will lift ANIMA to a new level!"

ANIMA finish recordings for new album, post new video teaser!
German Deathcore brigade ANIMA has finished the recordings for their new, yet untitled album to be due in February of 2010. Here´s an update from the band.
“The good news at first. We almost finished the mix and mastering of the new album. The artwork-process is doing well, too and the final cover, title and release date will be announced shortly. Moreover there are some new partners at our site, such as Perfidy Clothing and Brutal Knack Clothing.
The bad news: As you might have noticed our drummer had an accident. He's unable to play for a couple of weeks. Luckily enough we were able to get a stand-in drummer which is Phillip from Dying Eternity. We had some rehearsals together and things are working out quite well!”

ANIMA busy recording new album!
German Deathcore heroes ANIMA are busy in the studio recording the successor to their 2008 debut album The Daily Grind!
“By October 4th we have recorded guitars, drums and bass and so far so good! We are extremely happy about the outcome so far and psyched about what is yet to come! Props to Basti from Slaughter Palace studio who is supporting us 200 %! Next up in the recording studio is our singer Robert laying down the vocal tracks. This should be done by the moment you read this. Stay tuned and check the video blog on our MySpace!”

ANIMA in writing mode!
[18/06/09] German Deathcore maniacs ANIMA are busy writing new songs for their anticipated second album for Metal Blade. Here's an update from the band camp:
"We are working on new songs since February 2009. And one thing is for sure.. it will be essentially more sophisticated and intense as hell! We are confident that it won't be comparable to 'The Daily Grind' and we hope that you will agree to this after you have heard the new shit!
"We are going to enter the Rape Of Harmonies studios once again at the beginning of September to record the drums. To make sure we will deliver a quality product we contacted Basti from Slaughters Palace studios to record the guitars, bass and vocals and to mix and master the entire album!"
