VOMITORY premiere video clip for 'Regorge In The Morgue' taken off their new album 'Opus Mortis VIII'!
Swedish Death Metal veterans VOMITORY have premiered a video clip for 'Regorge In The Morgue', the opening track off their eighth studio album Opus Mortis VIII!
Comments the band: "So we have finally released our first video after 22 years! It was shot one brutal day in March together with the boys from Some Kind Of Bear Media in the most violent surroundings of an old dairy factory. It also happens to be the place were we shot the group photos for Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize. Our victim did a splendid job portraying a man eating his own face and the rest of us do what we do best, headbang and vomit. After all, we are Vomitory. Enjoy!"

Produced, engineered and mixed by Rikard Löfgren in his own Leon music studios, Opus Mortis VIII proves to be the best sounding VOMITORY album ever!

We raised the bar quite a few notches in the studio - both production-wise and performance-wise, and we couldn't be happier with the result. We are not breaking new death metal ground with this album - that was never Vomitorys' mission - but Opus Mortis VIII offers diversity and dynamics that you haven't quite heard from Vomitory before. Still, this is a very intense and aggressive album in the true Vomitory tradition - all the essential signature details are there. Opus Mortis VIII is out since the 23rd/26th of April, 2011. The limited first edition is a Digipak featuring four exclusive bonus tracks. Those tracks are re-recorded versions of songs taken off the first two VOMITORY albums.

VOMITORY finish recordings for upcoming new album 'Opus Mortis VIII'!
Mighty Swedish death metallers VOMITORY have finished the recordings for their anticipated eighth studio album entitled Opus Mortis VIII.
Comments the band: "On Sunday, December 19th, we completed the work on the eighth Vomitory album that we have entitled OPUS MORTIS VIII!
It's our eighth musical work of death, so we think it's a very fitting title and we have some nice things going on artwork-wise for this one. Producer and studio owner Rikard Löfgren has done a tremendous job to get the best sounding Vomitory album to date - no competition! We are so fucking happy with the result. The production is absolutely top-notch and the material offers diversity and dynamics that you haven't quite heard from Vomitory before. You will get 14 songs altogether and roughly 54 minutes playing time."
