StereoKiller.com to exclusively premier 'I väntan på den Absoluta Nollpunkten' off Istapp's Metal Blade debut, Blekinge
AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - May 18, 2010 - Sweden's ISTAPP, comprised of three warlords (Mordechai von Renvaktar, C. Ashuck von Renvaktar and Fjalar) who have set out on a campaign to destroy the sun and all of its followers, are giving the metal site StereoKiller.com the exclusive premier of the track I väntan på den Absoluta Nollpunkten off their upcoming Metal Blade debut, Blekinge. The new track I väntan på den Absoluta Nollpunkten is currently live and streaming HERE so be sure to check it out and leave a comment for the band. Blekinge marks the band's fourth release and first for Metal Blade Records with cover art handled by none other than C. Ashuck von Renvaktar.
Warlord and vocalist Mordechai von Renvaktar comments; "'I väntan på den Absoluta Nollpunkten' will be the final warning you'll hear from us before the unstoppable rage of Blekinge strikes down upon you with its full force. Swedish enemies of the sun ISTAPP have posted the first song of their upcoming new album Blekinge on Myspace! Click HERE to check out the album opener Vinterriket!
Comments ISTAPP: "Vinterriket" is a track that will permanently freeze the eardrums of the ones who worships the sun."
Hailing from Blekinge, Sweden, one of the traditional provinces of Sweden situated in the south of the country bordering Smaland, Scania and the Baltic Sea, are the three warlords that form ISTAPP; Mordechai von Renvaktar, C. Ashuck von Renvaktar and Fjalar. Setting out on a campaign to destroy the sun and all of its followers, ISTAPP is currently preparing to unleash the band's Metal Blade Records debut Blekinge on June 4/7 in Europe and June 8th in the US and Canada.
Blekinge comes from the adjective bleke that corresponds to the nautical term for "dead calm," but ISTAPP's forthcoming album is anything but.
"We are confident that the piece of deadly art about to strike down on you all will be the first really true metal-album ever to be released to this world" comments the band on its upcoming release Blekinge, a dark and unrelenting black metal beast of an album set to devour the world this summer.
Cover art was handled by none other than C. Ashuck von Renvaktar.
"Out of his memories Lord Ashuck himself created a picture of Blekinge and its oak, fore-saying the inevitable path this world must wander. It will certainly hurt the eyes of many a sun-worshiper who dare to look upon it."

Metal Blade Records announce the signing of Sweden’s Istapp!
Hailing from Blekinge, Sweden on the frozen coasts of the Baltic Sea, are the three warlords that form Istapp. Mordechai von Renvaktar, C. Ashuck von Renvaktar and Fjalar have set out on a campaign to destroy the sun and all of its followers. To this end, Istapp has joined forces (or “conquered”, if you ask the band) with Metal Blade Records to unleash their next vicious assault, Blekinge.
