CRADLE OF FILTH
"From The Cradle To Enslave"
RELEASED: 03.21.2000
When it comes to the bizarre and the strange, the biggest selling black metal band in the world Cradle Of Filth are certainly at the pinnacle of all things dark and wondrous and recently the evil minds of Lucifer's elite have been terrifyingly working overtime…

On October 5th 1999, Metal Blade Records will release the long-anticipated debut long-form video 'PanDaemonAeon', the sexy, shocking, witty and freakish insight into the collective psyche of Cradle Of Filth.

The video features a plethora of both the cut and uncensored promo videos of "From The Cradle To Enslave", live footage, band commentary and an in-depth making of "From The Cradle To Enslave". You can be certain that the content will never cease to astound and enthrall, featuring dozens of voluptuous, exposed women, pierced female genitalia, dwarves, amputees and over 120 gallons of blood (purportedly the most blood ever used in a video, and more used in the entire film Hellraiser). The live footage was taken from Cradle Of Filth's milestone gig at the London Astoria on June 5th 1998. Tracks included are "Dusk and Her Embrace", "Beneath the Howling Stars", "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" and "Malice Through the Looking Glass".

"From The Cradle To Enslave" is a conceptual Hammer Horror style video brought to fruition by cult film director Alex Chandon. Alex has previously been critically acclaimed for his sex-flick "Pervirella" as well as underground gore-shockers "Bad Karma", "Drillbit" and "Siamese Cop". The mini-movie promo video also stars EileenDaly of British Vampire film "Razorblade Smile" fame, along with beauties from the London fetish scene Emily Bouffante, Emma Red and Louisa Morando.

"PanDaemonAeon" continues Cradle Of Filth's protocol of freedom of speech and pushing the boundaries of acceptability, a notion that has already led to the band being arrested at the Vatican for wearing an 'I Satan' T-shirt and dressing as priests, criticized for using the word 'C**t' 13 times on BBC2's "Living With The Enemy" program and for slagging off IT girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson at the Kerrang! Awards, and is constantly hassled by religious groups around the world to halt the production of their 'Jesus Is A C**t' T-shirt.
