BARN BURNER
"Bangers"
RELEASED: 02.16.2010
Barn Burner hits the road with 3 Inches Of Blood, Goatwhore and more!
From the metal loving city of Montreal comes one of the most killer riff machines this side of the love child of Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Fu Manchu. Barn Burner will be cruising around Canada again this spring, spreading their love of the riff, good times and beard encrusted rock!

Rick Ball has this to say about returning out east with 3 Inches & Goatwhore and returning to the great west: "There shall be blood, goats and barns to be burned! This epic tour out west is going to give me the fear in the best sort of way, brother!"

Bangers was re-released on Metal Blade Records this past February with 2 new tracks. The video for Half Past Haggard from Bangers can be seen now on MetalBlade.tv.

"This music is all about the swagger, and the foursome carries themselves like the 1976-77 Habs: they will own you, plain and simple, no matter how hung over they are from the night before." Decibel Magazine

"Up tempo stoner rock like a cross between The Atomic Bitchwax, Fu Manchu and The Fucking Champs - excellent musicianship" Terrorizer Magazine

"It’s unquestionable that the one thing this band does is play hard and heavy, and Bangers comprises 11 galloping tunes that demonstrates this. These guys live for the riff and if you do to, then go out and get this record!" Blistering.com

"huge groovy riffs that would make Phil Lynott proud." Craveonline.com

"nine-track bout of boogie- metal-infused fuzz rock and guttural punk is simply stunning. Metal Blade Records announces the signing of Montreal’s Barn Burner
From the metal loving city of Montreal comes one of the most killer riff machines this side of the 3 headed love child of Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Fu Manchu. Barn Burner have been cruising around Canada over the past few years spreading their love of the riff, good times and are ready to spread their beard encrusted rock to the rest of the world.

“It’s a total honor to be working with such a ruling label; it is one of those crucial goals that you strive for as a band. May our filthy beards and hair grow long together over the years and continue to put out crushing albums!” - Kevin Keegan, Barn Burner

Metal Blade Records will be giving their debut album, Bangers, its official world wide release in 2010. The album has already received tons of praise from press from Canada to the UK from the album’s original release via New Romance for Kids Records.

“Up tempo stoner rock like a cross between The Atomic Bitchwax, Fu Manchu and The Fucking Champs…excellent musicianship.” Terrorizer Magazine

“If Steve Harris [yes, Iron Maiden's own] moved to Montreal and started eating poutine and joined Corrosion of Conformity I’d imagine it would sound a lot like this. It hasn’t left my constant rotation for weeks, and I presume it is there to stay.” AbsoluteUnderground.ca

“Montreal’s Barn Burner is one of the most impressive Sabbath-inspired bands we’ve heard in a long time. The band’s newest offering, Bangers (New Romance for Kids), is pure stoney mayhem. Comprised of heavy, minimal riffs, driving drums and major solos, this album will satiate any metal head’s yearning for primal rock.” ChronicYouth.com

Their debut record, Bangers, will be given its worldwide debut in early 2010. Keep your eyes peeled for tour dates to follow!
